The Rising Sun

This might be the most hours I have ever spend on a piece of artwork. Not only because of all the little pieces to be created for this but bringing it all together was the real challenge.

I tried creating one appealing concise page that could be presented in a design artworks book for the game. To be honest I had to revisit most ideas multiple times until they were precise and fitting enough. With all the research I did for this, I thought about writing an essay lol. Got me quiet out of my comfort zone as well, great time!

I actually was on prowl for art contests lately. Stumbling upon a challenge for my most anticipated game in YEARS was like the alignment of stars. When I then realized the video by Vaati was shown to me 12 days late (thanks youtube), I worked double shifts and made it just in time! :D
